How to achieve shiny bathroom tiles: effective life hacks
Cleaning bathroom tiles can often be challenging due to their tendency to attract various types of dirt. Although household chemicals do not always give the desired results, there are alternative methods that are more affordable and no less effective.
SSPDaily tells you about three simple but effective tricks that housewives can use to restore the shine of the tiles in the bathroom.
1. Baking soda
Baking soda is a versatile and affordable product that can be used to clean both tiles and grout. Start by preparing a paste by mixing a small amount of water with baking soda until a smooth mixture is formed. Using a toothbrush, gently apply the paste to the tiles and grout. Leave it on for a few minutes and then wipe it off with a cloth to get a clean surface.
2. Ammonia
One spoonful of ammonia mixed with a liter of water can create a highly effective home cleaner. This solution removes various types of dirt effortlessly. However, it is advisable to wear a mask when using this solution and ensure proper ventilation in the room.
3. Citric acid
Citric acid not only removes dirt but also neutralizes harmful microorganisms that cause mold. To use this product, sprinkle the citric acid powder on a cloth and start scrubbing the tiles. After about 5 minutes, rinse the surface with clean water.
