How to add multiple destinations to Google Maps and create a custom route
Google Maps is a web-based mapping service developed by Google. It allows you to browse maps and satellite images and provides information about directions, traffic conditions, and local places to visit.

How to add destinations using Google Maps on your computer
Open the Google Maps web app.
Then:
- click Search on Google Maps to enter a destination;
- enter the destination by pinpointing points on the map, or enter a search string.
Finally, select a mode of transportation.
How to add destinations using Google Maps on Android and iOS
Open the Google Maps app, and if you don't have it, download it from the Play Store (Android) or the App Store (iOS).
Next:
- enter your destination in the search bar or tap it on the map;
- in the lower left corner of the screen, tap "Routes" and select a mode of transportation.
You can also pin your favorite routes by tapping the Pin icon at the bottom of the screen.
If you want to choose a different route on any mode of transportation, just select it on the map. Each route will show you the estimated travel time so you can make an informed decision.
How to add multiple destinations with Google Maps
With Google Maps, you can add multiple destinations and navigate routes with ease.
Open the Google Maps app on your device.
Then:
- enter your destination in the search bar or tap it on the map;
- tap Directions in the lower left corner of the screen;
- in the upper right corner of the screen, tap "More" - "Add stops";
- select and add multiple destinations. Google Maps allows you to add up to 9 stops.
After adding multiple destinations, tap Done.
You can also change the order of the stops after adding multiple destinations. Simply select the stop you want to move, hold down the Reorder button, and drag it to the desired position.
