How to clean a gas stove: 3 useful life hacks
SSPDaily has prepared life hacks for cleaning a gas stove. Learn practical and easy solutions to keep it clean with these simple methods.
Baking soda and vinegar
First, remove the grids and burner covers. Mix baking soda and vinegar and then apply it to the surface of the stove, paying particular attention to greasy or dirty areas. Leave the paste on for at least 15 minutes and then wipe it off with a clean, damp cloth.
Lemon juice solution
Squeeze fresh lemon juice on the stained areas, especially in areas where grease and burnt residue have accumulated. Leave the lemon juice on for 10-15 minutes to break down the dirt. You can use a brush or sponge to clean the surface and then wipe it with a damp cloth.
Steam cleaning
To clean with steam, remove the grids and burner covers from the gas hob. Boil a pot of water on another burner and let the steam fill the pot. It is recommended that you hold the pot over the stove surface to allow the steam to soften the dried stains. After a few minutes, you can wipe off the softened dirt with a sponge or cloth.
