How to clean the hood mesh from grease: 3 useful life hacks
SSPDaily has prepared life hacks for cleaning the hood. Learn effective methods to keep it clean and grease-free.
Vinegar and baking soda
Prepare a paste from equal parts of vinegar and baking soda. This mixture should be applied to the mesh and left for 15-20 minutes.
After it has hardened, brush the grid with a soft-bristled brush, paying special attention to the areas with the greatest accumulation of grease. After the entire surface is cleaned, rinse the hood thoroughly with water and let it dry.
Lemon and salt
Sprinkle salt on the greasy areas of the mesh, and cut the lemon in half and rub it into the surface. The natural acidity of the lemon, combined with the abrasiveness of the salt, helps to remove grease.
Dishwashing liquid
Run hot water in a sink or large bowl and add dishwashing detergent. You can immerse the strainer in the soapy water and leave it for 30 minutes to soften the grease.
After soaking, use a soft-bristled sponge or brush to clean the strainer, paying special attention to the areas with the most grease. Once the grease has been softened, rinse the mesh thoroughly with clean water and let it dry.
