How to quickly wash a thermos: 4 useful tips
SSPDaily has prepared tips on how to clean a thermos. Learn how to effectively remove scale from its inner surface.
Baking soda
Fill a thermos with warm water and add a few tablespoons of baking soda to it. Leave it overnight to allow the abrasive nature of baking soda to break down and remove the scale. The next step is to clean the inside with a bottle brush.
Soaking in vinegar
Use equal parts water and white vinegar and then leave it to soak for several hours. This will allow the mixture to break down the scale, making it easier to remove. After soaking, you can use a brush to clean the inside of the thermos before rinsing thoroughly.
Tablets for dentures
Throw a couple of tablets into the thermos, fill it with warm water, and leave it for a few hours. The effervescent effect of the tablets will help remove plaque, making it easier to clean. After soaking, wash the thermos thoroughly with soap and water.
Lemon and salt scrub
Create a natural scrub by cutting a lemon in half, sprinkling salt on the cut side, and using it to clean the inside of the thermos. After cleaning, rinse the thermos well to remove any residue before using it again.
