Instagram fitness star shares 10 ways to lose weight without giving up food
Losing weight can be very difficult. People go to all sorts of tricks, go on strict diets, but the results are often not satisfying.
The Daily Star writes: "Fortunately, there are social networks where you can find useful advice for all occasions, including weight loss. For example, 22-year-old Lizzie High (Instagram - Liz Bites Back, 320 thousand followers) is known for sharing fitness tips on the Internet. In particular, she recently said that there are ways to lose fat without restricting yourself too much in your diet."
Here are some great tips from her.
How to lose weight without exhausting diets
According to Lizzie, there are effective ways to change your body without restricting yourself in any way. You just need to change your mindset a little.
The fitness guru said that there are 10 steps you need to take to tone your body. All of them are quite simple.
"It's not about giving up food," she said, "it's about finding something you can add to your diet to give you energy. Of course, you don't want to overindulge in your favourite foods, but for the most part, it's all about balance."
Lizzie showed how her body has changed in recent months by following these rules and she really does look amazing.
She said: "Here are 10 steps you can take to build muscle and lose fat without restriction. Follow a structured programme.
"Eat enough protein (not only does it help recovery, but it also has the highest thermal effect of all foods, so you burn more when you eat it). But that doesn't mean you don't eat carbohydrates or fats. You need a balance of everything."
Also:
- Think about what you can add, not what you can cut.
- Stay in a small calorie deficit. You can start with 100-300 kcal.
- Walk more. This will increase your energy expenditure, improve your mental health and digestion.
- Make sure you eat all food groups. Do not limit yourself. It's unhealthy and you won't be able to stick to it, so before you know it, you'll be back to square one.
She also added: "Drink 2.5-3 litres of water a day. Don't do cardio. Cardio is good for maintaining high energy expenditure and heart health, but the load will be counterproductive."
"Train fully in basic compound exercises such as squats, presses, etc. Don't skip social events. No goal is worth losing your life for. Just stop being lazy and plan everything in advance so you don't miss a workout."
