Chelsea winger Angelo joins Al-Nassr for £19.1m
Brazilian winger Angelo Gabriel, who moved to Stamford Bridge from Santos for £13m in July 2023, has joined Saudi Pro League side Al-Nassr from Chelsea for £19.1m. The 19-year-old player spent last season on loan at Strasbourg, where he made 24 appearances. Chelsea included a sell-on clause in their agreement with Al-Nassr. This is prepared by SSP.
Angelo, who signed a five-year contract with Al-Nassr, now joins a team captained by Cristiano Ronaldo and also featuring Sadio Mane. At just 15 years and 308 days old, Angelo became the youngest player in the history of the Brazilian top flight when he made his debut for Santos in October 2020 against Fluminense.
Elsewhere, Daniel Podence moved from Wolverhampton Wanderers to Al-Shabab for £5m. The 28-year-old Portugal winger has 108 appearances and 16 goals for Wolves since joining in 2019 and was on loan to Olympiacos last season.
The Saudi transfer window closed on Monday evening.
