Romaine Mundle Helps Sunderland Clinch Championship Win Over Burnley

Sunderland achieved a narrow but historic victory over Burnley, making it three wins out of three in the Championship, for the first time in 99 years. Under new French head coach Regis Le Bris, Romane Mundle scored the only goal in the first half, ensuring Sunderland's perfect start to the season, a feat last achieved in 1925-26. Sunderland finished the match with 10 men after captain Dan Neil received a second booking, yet Burnley managed just a single shot on target.
