OnePlus Buds Pro 3: Initial Details and Specifications
The OnePlus Buds Pro 3 have not yet been officially announced, but substantial leaks have revealed images and detailed specifications. While details of anticipated AI features remain unclear, the leaks confirm their existence and reveal exciting new enhancements.
According to Smartprix.com and journalist Max Jambor, the leaked images show a case similar to the Nord Buds 3 Pro. The case features a leather or faux leather front finish, USB-C, a pairing button, and comes in two colors: Midnight Opus (black) and Lunar Radiance (silvery-gold), weighing 61g.
Key Specifications:
– Battery life: The Buds Pro 3 promises up to 43 hours with the case, surpassing the current model by four hours.
– IP Rating: It boasts an IP55 rating for dust, water, and sweat resistance.
– Bluetooth: Equipped with Bluetooth 5.4, offering 94ms low latency and dual-connection support.
– Drivers: Dual-driver setup with 11mm woofers and 6mm tweeters.
– Audio Codec: Updated to LHDC 5.0, supporting audio up to 24-bit/192kHz, which is a step up from the LHDC 4.0 used in the Buds Pro 2.
– Noise Cancellation: Enhanced to 50dB from 49dB, with improved noise cancellation performance.
A significant selling point is the inclusion of Dynaudio EQ with presets tailored for various musical genres. Although our review of the Buds Pro 2 noted that they lacked perfect sound quality, expectations are high that the Buds Pro 3 will address this.
Pricing:
While the pricing remains undisclosed, it is anticipated that the Buds Pro 3 will be similar to the current model's price of $179/£179, positioning them in the mid-range of the ANC earbud market.
