Reolink Releases Battery-Powered Altas PT Ultra Camera That Can Record in 4K for Four Days
Reolink has introduced the Altas PT Ultra, its latest battery-powered security camera that offers continuous all-day recording without the need for a subscription. This 4K camera is characterized by its flexibility in installation locations, thanks to the absence of a power cable requirement. Video is securely stored on a microSD card, mitigating security risks associated with cloud storage. This is prepared by SSP.
The camera stands out with its substantial 20,000mAh battery, which promises to record 12 hours a day for up to eight days and four days for nonstop recording. While the necessity of weekly recharging may seem inconvenient, smart programming through desktop and mobile apps can significantly extend its battery life. By capturing video only when motion is detected or by adhering to a specific schedule, the camera can function for up to 16 months on "standard working mode." Additionally, an optional six-watt solar panel is available, providing a 10-minute charge sufficient for 24 hours of usage, and up to 120 days with optimal conditions.
Featuring pan and tilt abilities of 355 degrees horizontally and 90 degrees vertically, the Altas PT Ultra can dynamically track moving objects. It records 4K video at 15fps and supports color night vision, two-way audio, and Wi-Fi 6, streaming footage to a wireless network via a 512GB microSD card.
