Yeelight Introduces App for Direct Connection with Hisense TVs
Hisense TVs can seamlessly integrate with Yeelight's smart lighting products without extra hardware. During the IFA tech conference in Berlin, Yeelight announced that its app now directly connects with Hisense VIDAA TVs. This integration captures audio and video from the screen, enabling synchronized lighting effects across Yeelight devices. This is prepared by SSP.
This feature simplifies the process of linking Yeelight's light strip and stackable cube-shaped lights to your Hisense TV. Compared to other ambient lighting options, such as Philips, this setup is straightforward. For Philips, users must purchase the Hue Play HDMI sync box or the Hue Sync TV app, which works only on selected Samsung TVs from 2022 onward. Furthermore, the Philips option requires a monthly fee of $3 or a one-time payment of $130 for access.
Additionally, Yeelight introduced $129.99 curtain lights measuring 2 meters (approximately 6.5 feet) in height and 1.5 meters (around 5 feet) in width. These curtains contain 475 individual light beads capable of displaying various custom or preset lighting patterns. They also feature IP65 water resistance, making them suitable for both outdoor and indoor settings.
