Ashley Iaconetti Details New Engagement Ring and Wedding Band
Ashley Iaconetti has been receiving numerous inquiries about her new engagement ring and wedding band, US Weekly reported. She addressed these questions through a video shared on her Instagram Story on Tuesday, September 3. "Our preferences evolve, just like how one year you might desire a minimalist black and white house and the next want a cozy colonial with darker walls. My feelings towards rings have changed similarly," stated Iaconetti, 36.
She fondly expressed her love for her original engagement ring, highlighting its perfection and platinum setting. However, she admitted developing a liking for the currently trendy gold rings and the popular emerald cut, different from her original princess cut.
Iaconetti shared a sweet gesture from her husband, Jared Haibon; he gifted her a new ring as a "push present," although Iaconetti isn't a fan of the term. The couple recently welcomed their second child, Hayden, in July, joining their son Dawson, 2.
Explaining the design of the new emerald-cut ring she revealed her customization efforts on JamesAllen.com. A fan of lab-grown diamonds, Iaconetti preferred a larger, cost-effective lab diamond over a smaller, more expensive one.
Their original engagement ring from season 5 of Bachelor in Paradise, where Haibon, 35, proposed in 2018, still holds sentimental value. They got married in August of the following year and remain avid viewers of the Bachelor franchise, as shown by clips Iaconetti shared on Instagram of them watching The Bachelorette's live season 21 finale in bed.
Reacting strongly to Devin Strader's post-proposal breakup with Bachelorette Jenn Tran shortly after accepting her proposal, Iaconetti expressed her disappointment. "I can't believe this. Devin’s character development made him relatable, but his actions gross me out now," she commented.
Praising Tran’s candor on the live show, Iaconetti mentioned Tran's deservingness of another Bachelorette stint after such an honest display. During the live finale, Tran tearfully recounted the change in Strader after they left Hawaii. "He began distancing himself and eventually admitted he regretted the engagement," shared a heartbroken Tran. Strader, on the other hand, confessed to harboring doubts after the show ended, which he regretfully revealed too late to Tran.
