Academy Award winner Brad Pitt and his girlfriend, Ines de Ramon, marked a significant milestone in their relationship with their red carpet debut at the Venice Film Festival on Sunday, September 1, 2024, PEOPLE reported. The couple, who began dating in 2022, stepped out for the premiere of Pitt's new film, "Wolfs," showcasing high-contrast looks.
Pitt, 60, wore a custom Louis Vuitton black, double-breasted tuxedo jacket with flared pants inspired by the '70s, paired with square-toe boots, a singular pearl button, and a mesh undershirt revealing sparkling chains. De Ramon, 34, contrasted his ensemble in a one-shoulder, floor-length white gown with ruched details and a mermaid-style skirt. She accessorized her look with dangling earrings, a gold box clutch, metallic heels, and simple hair and makeup, featuring her brunette tresses down and natural, glowing glam.
During their debut, the couple posed alongside George Clooney, Pitt's "Wolfs'' co-star and long-time friend, and his wife, Amal Clooney. George, 63, wore a classic black tuxedo, while Amal dazzled in a yellow Atelier Versace gown paired with a Judith Leiber bag. The foursome's appearance followed a double dinner date on August 31 at Ristorante da Ivo, one of the Clooneys' favorite Venice spots.
Their stylish arrival and interaction captured attention at the festival, which also saw Pitt's ex-wife Angelina Jolie promoting her latest movie, "Maria." The organizers confirmed that measures were taken to prevent any run-in between Pitt and Jolie due to their ongoing contentious divorce battle, which began in 2016.
The festival’s artistic director, Alberto Barbera, reassured that their events were sufficiently spaced to prevent an encounter. Despite their past drama, Pitt appears to be in a happier phase with de Ramon.
Before their red carpet moment, Pitt and de Ramon had avoided posing for photos at events like LACMA's annual gala and the Santa Barbara Film Festival. However, they recently attended high-profile events together, including the British Grand Prix in Northampton, England, in July.
De Ramon, previously married to "Vampire Diaries" star Paul Wesley, joined Pitt in sparking dating rumors in November 2022. Their burgeoning romance now takes center stage with this latest public appearance, highlighting their deepening relationship against the glitzy backdrop of Venice.
