Bruce Willis' Family Unites Amid His Health Struggle
Tallulah Willis revealed in an exclusive interview with E! News that despite Bruce Willis’ battle with frontotemporal dementia, the family remains closely connected and supportive. "Our visits are filled with so much love," said Tallulah, the youngest daughter of Bruce and Demi Moore. This sentiment resonates across the extended family, including Tallulah's siblings Rumer, 35, Scout, 32, stepmom Emma Heming Willis, and younger sisters Mabel, 12, and Evelyn, 10.
"Our family is tightly bonded,," Tallulah shared, emphasizing the mutual love. Recent updates from sister Rumer, 36, further affirm the entire family's unwavering support and affection for Bruce, bringing everyone even closer together. Constant communication among them plays a crucial role, as Tallulah noted they frequently maintain contact through family group threads.
On a personal journey, Tallulah's navigation of agoraphobia and autism diagnosis led her to collaboration on a capsule collection with Kumi Kookoon, drawing inspiration from the comfort found in the brand’s weighted blankets. Reflecting on this endeavor, she recalled, "I got really excited and knew I wanted to be part of it, despite my lack of experience."
Completing the three-year project felt immensely rewarding for Tallulah, whimsically noting a blanket mishap with her sister Scout, which she aims to rectify now that the collection is launching.
Bruce’s family announced his earlier diagnosis of aphasia in March 2022, later evolving into frontotemporal dementia. FTD, an umbrella term for conditions impacting the frontal and temporal brain lobes, affects personality, behavior, and language. As his condition has progressed, the Die Hard star is surrounded by continuous family care, ensuring moments with him are cherished. A source revealed, "While Bruce has around-the-clock care, his family always remains by his side, focusing on togetherness and reminding him of their love."
