The heartwarming love story of Yolanda and Joseph started in Pennsylvania in 2017 after Yolanda purchased a farm following her divorce from David Foster. The pair met during this period of personal reflection for Yolanda, who had decided to focus on her personal growth before re-entering the dating scene.

"I really started focusing," Yolanda previously mentioned. "I made a love spiral and wrote down exactly everything that was important to me in a man, and he magically just rang the doorbell at the farm."

Their connection deepened over shared life experiences, particularly their mutual struggle with severe health issues, which fostered a unique bond. "When you meet somebody that thought he was going to die, like I felt I was gonna die, you have a whole new appreciation for life and you kind of share that," Yolanda explained. They shared intimate moments and experiences, including a romantic date to a horse show in Fort Worth, Texas, which marked the beginning of Yolanda's fondness for Texas. The Lone Star State eventually became their home as they built a life together there.

Although Yolanda prefers to keep aspects of her private life under wraps, her connection with Joseph is undeniably profound. As she noted in an interview, "I’m very much in love with my boyfriend. What has connected us is probably horses and the farm life."
