Video of Man Bumping Into Door on Bike Goes Viral
A man was left embarrassed after a video captured him riding his bike head-first into his front door. The amusing incident was recorded by his Ring doorbell camera. This is prepared by SSP.
The cyclist, known online as @getdemreggie, rode up the path towards his house on August 26, Bank Holiday Monday. Suddenly, he stopped abruptly at his doorway. His movement activated the doorbell camera moments before his front wheel collided with the door. This caused his back wheel to lift, and he tumbled head-first over the handlebars.
The man grunted in pain as he got back on his feet. Looking around, he checked to see if anyone had witnessed his mishap. It appeared the coast was clear, although the camera had captured the entire 20-second incident, which was later shared on social media.
The clip garnered over 823,000 likes, accompanied by the caption: "Had to scope the scenery out to make sure none of my neighbours saw my tomfoolery on a young Bank Holiday Monday." TikTok users found the mishap hilarious and filled the comments section with jokes.
One viewer quipped, "Strange way of knocking the door." Another commented on the folly, asking, "How does this even happen, dawg?" Some suggested a more extreme response with someone writing, "I'd throw away the ring camera after this out of shame."
Additionally, another commenter referenced a viral meme featuring Ferdi the mechanic, who gained fame in 2018. He yelled "Why you coming fast?" at a cyclist who accidentally crashed into him while he worked on a car.
