Jurassic Jenn Explains Her Love For Jurassic Park
Jurassic Jenn shared with us, in her own words, why Jurassic Park means so much to her.
Everyone who knows me, knows how much I love Jurassic Park. I mean…you don’t even have to know me very well to know how much it means to me. I have so much appreciation for this film and it truly holds a special place in my heart.
I will never forget the first time I saw Jurassic Park. I will also never forget how I almost didn’t even go see it at all (LOL). My dad wanted to take me to see it, but I was secretly scared. I was hearing about the film from some friends at the time and I was acting interested, but I was secretly terrified. The way they described it…it didn’t sound like it was appropriate for our age to watch. I finally trusted my dad, he never steered me wrong, and I am so happy I did because I can’t imagine my life without Jurassic Park being a part of it.
From the moment I saw the brachiosaurus on screen, with the music playing, and the faces of the characters, I was a part of it. I always describe Jurassic Park as magical because that’s the best description I can give to explain what I felt, and actually still feel today. Jurassic Park was a huge part of my childhood, and a huge part of who I am today.
If you heard my full story before, you also know that my father passed away when I was younger. This movie has become a huge part of our memories together for me. After all, if it wasn’t for my dad, I would have never seen Jurassic Park and who knows where I would be right now. Jurassic Park was the beginning of my journey down the road to following my dreams and it will always hold a special place in my heart.
