The peculiarity of cooking chicken liver is that it is cooked in a sauce of sour cream and onions. That's why it's tender and soft. Serve the chicken liver in sour cream sauce with mashed potatoes, pasta, buckwheat or rice. SSPDaily tells about it.
- Peel chicken liver. Rinse and pat dry. Cut it in half.
- Cut onion into half rings.
- Heat oil and butter in a frying pan. Fry the onion until soft.
- Add the chicken liver to the onion and fry for eight minutes. Add finely chopped garlic, pepper, salt, mustard and sour cream. Stir and simmer for five minutes. Then cover and simmer for another five minutes.
