If you have long dreamed of increasing the yield of carrots, it is worth trying the clever Chinese methods of sowing it. SSPDaily tells about it.
The first method
First, you need to till the soil and add fertilizer to it (for example, superphosphate, phytosporin, or humus would be great choices for carrots). The crop will definitely benefit from such fertilization and will delight you with increased yield and excellent tasting root crops.
Next, take ordinary toilet paper, cut it into small strips, and attach the carrot seeds at the optimal distance from each other using a paste. Prepare furrows in the bed and simply lay out the strips of paper with the seeds.
After the first sprouts appear, you will notice that there is no need to thin out the carrots. This saves a lot of time. Moreover, it will be much easier to weed out spring weeds without damaging the plantings.
The second method
This method is used when you need to further protect the seeds. Take a 0.5-liter plastic bottle, pour the amount of seeds that you need to plant in one bed into it.
Add dust to the bottle and shake it well. This method will distribute the seeds evenly. Now you can simply pour the mixture into the furrows.
Whichever planting method you choose, it is recommended to additionally water the bed with a solution of birch tar before sowing. One teaspoon is enough for 10 liters of water.
