To keep an orchid blooming all year round, you need to use one simple trick and prepare a nutritious fertilizer from a product that is definitely in every refrigerator. This was reported by SSPDaily.
We are talking about ordinary milk. Although this combination may seem strange at first glance, in practice the effect will not be long in coming. After all, milk contains many useful substances, including magnesium, calcium, potassium, and nitrogen. That's why it's perfect for orchids.
To prepare a fertilizer that will make orchids bloom like crazy, mix 500 ml of settled water and 1 tbsp of milk. Mix the ingredients thoroughly.
Homemade milk is best for feeding the flower, not pasteurized milk from the store. The latter contains much less nutrients.
Place the orchid pot in a deep container and then pour the fertilizer generously. Leave the flower for 15 minutes. Then drain the water from the pot and place the orchid where it usually stands.
This is how flower growers advise to feed the orchid once every two weeks. When the plant has accumulated enough nutrients, it will immediately release its blooms.
Additionally, you can wipe the orchid leaves with a milky solution. To prepare it, mix 2 tbsp. tablespoons of milk and 2 tbsp. tablespoons of warm water. Very soon you will notice that the leaves have become greener, shinier, and healthier in appearance.
