How to wash dishes properly so that grease is easily removed and the surface is not damaged
- Storage. Do not stack the dishes on top of each other, as this damages the surface. If there is not enough storage space, it is better to transfer pots and pans with paper towels.
- Rinsing. After washing the dishes, do not rinse them with very cold or hot water. This can damage the surface of the pots and pans and leave stains on them.
- Soaking. If pots and pans have old grease, dirt, or carbon deposits, it is best to soak them for half an hour. This way, the dirt will come off on its own, you will only need to wash the dishes with detergent, and the surface will remain intact.
- Detergents. If the cookware is many years old, has soot and old grease on it, it is better to wash it with improvised means: vinegar, baking soda, plain soap, etc. This way, you can easily get rid of grease and carbon deposits, and you won't damage the surface of the cookware.
- Drying. Do not leave the dishes wet. After washing, wipe the pots and pans with a kitchen towel to keep the surface shiny.
