How to clean the joints between tiles: 3 effective tips
Discover effective and simple life hacks for cleaning grout to achieve perfect cleanliness. SSPDaily has shared practical and environmentally friendly methods of dealing with complex dirt.
Vinegar and baking soda
Mix equal parts vinegar and baking soda to form a paste, and then apply the mixture to the seam lines. Leave the solution on for a few minutes to allow it to work. After that, you can use an old toothbrush to clean it. Once you're done, rinse the area with water to see clean and smooth joints between the tiles.
Steam cleaner
If you have very dirty grout, a steam cleaner will be an effective tool. Hold the nozzle of the steam cleaner directly above the grout lines and move it along the grout lines so that the high-temperature steam effectively loosens dirt and grime. Any remaining dirt can then be easily wiped off with a cloth.
Lemon juice and salt scrub
Prepare a paste of lemon juice and salt to be applied to the seam lines. The natural acidity of lemon juice helps to break down stains and disinfect the grout lines. Let the paste work for a few minutes and then brush the surface.
