How to clean the windshield in a few minutes: 4 simple but effective ways

Cleaning the windshield from the outside

1. Dilute water and dishwashing detergent in a bucket until foamy.

3. Dampen a soft microfiber cloth with soapy water and wipe the surface thoroughly without wringing it out.
4. Rinse off any soap residue with clean water.
5. Wipe the glass dry with a cloth made of natural materials or microfiber.
6. If stains remain, gently polish the surface with a crumpled newspaper.

To deal with small stains, use ammonia. Mix a small amount of the product with water, wipe the window, rinse and dry the glass.

Remove wiper marks on the windshield

1. To remove minor scuffs, apply whitening toothpaste to the affected areas and gently polish the area with a cotton pad. Wipe off any residue with a damp cloth.

1. A solution of table vinegar can help dissolve and remove deposits. Leave it on the glass for 5-7 minutes and then rinse it off with clean water.
2. You can also wipe the windshield with dry tobacco on a sponge. This will effectively remove grease without damaging the appearance of the car.
