How to protect your shoes from moisture: 3 simple tips
Do your shoes often get wet in winter and spring? SSPDaily has revealed some valuable ways to keep them dry in any weather.
Vaseline
Applying a thin layer of petroleum jelly on the entire surface of the shoe will create a protective barrier that will not allow water to seep in. Make sure to cover the entire surface, especially the seams. After applying the product, leave it for several hours to cure before wearing your shoes in wet conditions.
Silicone spray
Spray the silicone product evenly over the entire shoe and allow it to dry before wearing it in wet conditions.
Do-it-yourself wax coating
A more durable method of waterproofing is to apply a wax coating to the shoes. Melted beeswax mixed with a small amount of white spirit forms a paste that can be applied in a thin layer to the surface. It will create a long-lasting waterproof barrier that will effectively protect your shoes from moisture.
