How to solve problems with Google Play: useful tips
SSPDaily has prepared valuable tips to help you deal with Google Play problems. Learn how to ensure the uninterrupted operation of the program.
Internet connection
Connect to a reliable Wi-Fi network or switch to mobile data. Test your connection by accessing other websites or apps. If the problem persists, restart your router or contact your internet service provider.
Clear the cache and app data
On your Android device, go to Settings, then Apps or App Manager. In the "All apps" section, find the Google Play Store or Google Play Market, and select "Clear cache" or "Clear data". Please note that this will delete your account settings and preferences.
Update to the latest version
Open the Google Play Store, click on the profile icon in the upper right, and then select "Settings". Then – "Information" and in the "Play Store version" or "About" section you will see the availability of updates and can install them if they are available. After the update is complete, restart your device.
Check your storage space
Check the available storage space by going to Settings, then About phone, and selecting Storage. Make sure you have enough space on your device to download and update apps. If the storage space is low, delete unnecessary files or move them to an external device.
Latest system software updates
These updates often contain important bug fixes and performance optimizations for apps, including Google Play. To check for updates, go to Settings, then to System or About, and select System update or Software update. Download and install all available updates, and restart the device after the installation is complete.
