YouTube Shorts has recently introduced a remix option that allows you to creatively enhance your videos. According to the video hosting service, the new feature will significantly expand the range of possibilities for users to interact with content.
The Daily Star writes: "Now you can work with sound, cut out unnecessary scenes, use the green screen effect, and more. SSPDaily prepared a rundown of the 'remix' features in YouTube Shorts."
How do I use the new feature?
In the YouTube app on your mobile device, go to the video you want to remix. When you view the selected video in the video interface, you'll see a new Remix option. Click on it, and you'll be offered four options: Audio, Collab, Green Screen, and Cut.
Sound
This option can be used to give your video a personalized touch, especially if your video is about travel or current events.
Collab
Select Collab if you want to create a short film alongside your original video. This feature allows you to synchronize your actions with actors or people who work with you on the same team.
Green screen
Select Green Screen to use your video as a background for your shorts. This option allows you to add a real-time reaction to the first viewing or create interesting and dynamic content.
Cut
If you want to use a specific scene from the video, select the Cut feature. It allows you to trim a 5-second clip and easily integrate it into a short film for repeated viewing.
