Most people do just that: this common mistake in drying hair will ruin the styling of your hair
Few people can boast that their hairstyle "fits" beautifully right after shampooing. Even if you try the popular "smart haircut" technique, which means that the hair remains voluminous, you can't do without additional styling products and tools. At the very least, you should have a hair dryer at hand. This was reported by SSPDaily.
Stylists say that no matter how much the use of a hair dryer is demonized on the Web, it is thanks to the directed warm air flow that you can get shiny and healthy curls. Thanks to it, the cuticles of the hairs close faster, which minimizes unnecessary damage and deformation. It is thanks to a hair dryer that hair becomes more manageable and voluminous. But if you dry them in the bathroom, you won't notice this effect. It simply doesn't exist.
The fact is that a humid bathroom is not at all suitable for drying hair. Especially if you do it immediately after taking a shower and have not yet ventilated the room.
The increased humidity slows down the drying process. It also negatively affects the way your hair looks: moisture from the air settles on the curls, they absorb it and lose their already unstable natural volume.
Of course, it is very convenient to dry your hair in the bathroom. Many people have a mirror and an outlet next to it. But if you want your hair to hold well and have volume, it's better to go to another room or turn on the hood, open the door wide so that the moisture is removed and the air in the room becomes as dry as in other parts of the apartment.
