Why you can't accept mirrors as gifts: signs and superstitions
Mirrors carry energy that can both attract prosperity and cause harm in a person's life. SSPDaily explains why you shouldn't give or receive mirrors as gifts.
According to popular beliefs, the presence of someone else's mirror in your home is unfavorable, as it can be a carrier of diseases and troubles of its previous owner. In addition, be careful not to give away your mirror, as you risk giving away your happiness and good luck to others.
Esotericists advise against exchanging mirrors as gifts, as they can supposedly absorb the recipient's attraction. If you received a mirror as a gift, it is recommended to hold it in the dark for three days before deciding whether to hang it on the wall.
The accumulation of negative emotions, such as hatred, has incredible power, allowing those who feel genuine hostility towards you to cause significant harm through seemingly innocent gifts. If you receive a mirror as a gift from someone with whom you have not developed a relationship, it is better to refuse it immediately. If this is not possible, bury the mirror with the glass down, or drown it in water.
