For men and women who are trying to establish long-term relationships, online dating apps are a great way to achieve a positive result. At the same time, there are pitfalls that can scare off a potential partner even before the relationship begins. We are talking about mistakes in the making of dating profiles for women, some of which become "red flags" for men.
The YourTango website has studied Tinder/Bumble users' feedback on mistakes in making dating profiles and, based on it, identified 11 most typical examples.
- Her profile consists of three or more selfies. This suggests that she either has few friends or is insecure, or even both.
- Her profile description is just her Instagram. Essentially, she is saying that her body is the only thing she has to offer.
- She has photos with animal filters. Such pictures are annoying and a sign of immaturity.
- The photos are so photoshopped that they look unnatural.
- There are too many photos of her riding/feeding/posing with horses. It's intimidating and makes you think about a lot of things.
- There are no full-length photos. She is probably hiding something. At the same time, self-doubt is even more unattractive than alleged body flaws.
- The profile description reads, "You must be the same height or taller" or "tall men only" etc.: There are more tactful ways to do this, but she chose this one, which indicates her poor upbringing.
- All of her profile photos show large groups of women. No one wants to look at pictures all day and waste time trying to determine your personality.
