Your roses, hydrangeas, and peonies will be delighted and will gift you with lush blooms. SSPDaily tells about it.
For roses - banana peels
Rose bushes will bloom incredibly lushly if you prepare a banana peel infusion for them. This is because these plants need potassium, which is contained in bananas.
It is very easy to prepare such a fertilizer. You need to take one liter of water, dissolve 2 teaspoons of baking soda in it, and add the crushed peel of one banana. This will wash away all the chemicals used to treat the soil.
Coffee grounds for hydrangeas
Coffee grounds should never be thrown away. It contains about 2% nitrogen, as well as calcium, potassium, magnesium, and iron. All of them are suitable for hydrangeas, rhododendrons, azaleas, and magnolias.
You can also apply coffee grounds under blueberries and carrots. To do this, simply pour the remains on the ground under the bushes. You can also prepare a special fertilizer. Take one glass of grounds per 10 liters of warm water, leave for several hours, and then water the plant.
Yeast and bread for peonies
Experts advise feeding peonies with a bread infusion twice a year: in spring and summer. To prepare the fertilizer, you need to take the remains of black bread, cut them into cubes, and soak them in a bucket of water. You can also add chopped dandelion or nettles. To initiate the fermentation process, the mixture should be left to stand for a week.
And to make a yeast feed, take 200 g of fresh yeast, a liter of warm water, and when the mixture dissolves, dilute it in 10 liters of water. This composition is suitable for any plant (except garlic, onions, and potatoes). But it is the peony that enjoys it the most.
