A vacuum cleaner is an essential item in the house. It's almost impossible to imagine cleaning without this device. And if it suddenly starts to break down and sucks in dust poorly, it can be a serious problem because it's quite challenging to keep a living space clean manually.
The Sun turned to this topic to find out why vacuum cleaners suddenly lose their "traction." As an example of a solution, it talked about a video by beauty blogger Tiffany Ascencio on TikTok. This was reported by SSPDaily.
In it, the woman warned viewers about the need to clean a specific area of the vacuum cleaner after she found it clogged with debris.
"In this case," the publication writes, "it was a clump of hair that got caught in the roller.
"Here's a reminder to take the time to remove hair from your vacuum," Tiffany said.
She then used scissors to cut the hair, pulled it out, and continued: "Question: if you're cleaning your vacuum cleaner, does that mean you're actually cleaning it?" "The easiest way is to take a pair of scissors and carefully cut the hair off the roller."
"When you're done, your vacuum cleaner should feel like new again! It's not the most glamorous job, but someone has to do it."
People were shocked by the amount of hair under the vacuum, with one person writing: "You could make a wig out of them."
Another joked: "I think you have more hair tangled in your vacuum cleaner than I have on my head."
Others told her there was a much easier way to do it.
One said: "You can take the whole roll out of the Dyson; you don't have to cut it like that."
Another said: "There's an easier way to get the hair out of the Dyson. There's a place where you can put a coin on the side of the vacuum and turn it, and it will remove the whole rolling part."
A third added: "I got so sick of it that I bought a pack of Shark anti-hair. It makes a difference.
