If you want to increase the battery life of your electronic device, the first thing you should do is turn off unnecessary notifications. This remark applies to Apple Watch as well.
However, according to BGR, in order not to constantly look at your wrist (you have an iPhone!), you can go even further and set your Apple Watch to vibrate only when you receive messages and calls from selected contacts. That way, you'll know when it's vital to answer a call or message because it's an emergency.
How to set up Apple Watch to receive the most important notifications
To do this, you'll need Focus mode, which you'll need to set up on your iPhone first. How to do it?
Go to Settings. Next: Focus - People, where you should mark your favorite contacts. Then go to the Watch app on your iPhone. Find the Focus menu in the General section and disable the Mirror my iPhone feature.
This will allow you to use different focus modes on your iPhone and Apple Watch. Allowing notifications only from certain contacts depends on disabling this setting.
Next, on the Apple Watch, press the side button and tap the moon symbol that represents the focus mode. Select the option you created earlier on your iPhone. And that's all you need to do to reduce the clutter of notifications on your Apple Watch.
So, by setting a special Focus mode, you will only receive vibrations or sound signals when the people you choose call or text you. This way, you'll know that you're dealing with an important message that you need to respond to immediately.
