A deer caused a stir in a school by getting into a classroom in the middle of the night. Video.
Police on the Jersey Shore, USA, had to deal with a deer that caused a disturbance late in the evening after Thanksgiving. The animal broke into the Cedar Grove Elementary School in Toms River and ran through empty classrooms.
Local police chief Mitch Little said they received a call from a passerby who was walking nearby with the dog. Later, videos from the officers' body cameras appeared.
The school principal said that the deer entered the school through a tiny window. The "chase" for the animal took place late in the evening, around 10:00 pm.
"They found it in the stairwell. The deer actually rushed at them and ran down the corridor. He accidentally entered a classroom whose door was unlocked," the police chief said.
Frightened by the light and the pursuit, the animal jumped on the table and threw everything on it.
The next shot shows the deer running away from the police outside the school. It was reportedly not seriously injured in the incident.
The only destruction left behind by the animal was a broken window and things thrown on the floor.
