Adam Devine Thrives in Fatherhood: "So Much Joy" and a Desire for More Kids

Adam Devine happily embraces his role as a dad. The 41-year-old actor and comedian, who collaborates with MyFitnessPal, expressed his delight in fatherhood. He shared with PEOPLE, "It's so awesome. I love it. It's brought me so much joy."

Devine, alongside his wife Chloe Bridges, welcomed their son Beau in February 2024. His excitement about parenthood is palpable. "I wish I would've had kids sooner," he admits joyfully. While Devine dreams of a larger family, stating, "I want to have 11 of them," his wife insists on having two children. He laughed as he mentioned their playful negotiation, "I'm like, 'Four?' and she's like, 'Two.' So we'll see how that goes."

Devine cannot hide his excitement as he recalls how they prepared for their first child. They announced their pregnancy in October 2023. Devine humorously stated, "Look, we're pregnant! Well, I'm just fat now but Chloe is all preggo with a human baby." Chloe added her own enthusiasm, writing, "We have news!! 🤰🏻 can't wait to get this lil family started."

When baby Beau arrived, the couple shared their joy through social media. Devine's post reflected their emotions, writing, "Meet lil baby Beau Devine! He can be fussy at times but we’ve already learned some great parenting techniques." They added a light-hearted take on comforting Beau during his crying phases.

Devine expressed his earlier worries about becoming a father. He acknowledged that many shared horror stories, saying, "People try to scare you, but don't get scared, men." Instead of fear, he experiences joy in every moment of parenting.

One surprising enjoyment for Devine is changing diapers. He humorously noted, "Turns out I don't mind changing a diaper. It doesn't bother me even a little bit." Moreover, he describes each experience as an adventure, highlighting the unique challenges and humor involved. "This guy poops, man, and every day it's a new adventure with those poops."
