Caelynn Bell Discusses Challenges of Family Planning with Husband Dean

Caelynn Bell recently opened up about trying to expand her family with her husband Dean. The couple actively seeks to start a family, which has become part of their vision board for 2025. "We are trying to start a family," Caelynn, aged 29, shared on January 2 in her YouTube vlog. She admitted, "It's harder to make a baby than I thought it would be," US Weekly reported.

Caelynn recalled her expectations surrounding pregnancy. "Everyone says, ‘I’m gonna get pregnant so easily.’ My mom got pregnant quickly with all her kids, so I thought, 'That’s gonna be me too,'" she said. However, through this journey, Caelynn discovered that tracking ovulation can be quite complex.

 In her vlog, Caelynn mentioned, "Ovation is tricky." As she continued to learn more, she shared her experiences using the Mira Fertility Tracker. "I did get Mira and finally scheduled an OB appointment for January," added the Bachelor in Paradise alumnus. This device allows users to input their test results to check hormone levels, which has helped her in tracking ovulation.

She refrained from comparing her journey to that of her friends. "One of my friends used the same device and got pregnant within a month," she joked. "But that’s not the case for me. Should I be sharing this?" This honest reflection highlights her process and challenges in trying to conceive.

Caelynn first met Dean, aged 33, during season 6 of Bachelor in Paradise after being one of Colton Underwood’s final four contestants on The Bachelor in 2019. Following their time on the show, they embarked on world travels in Dean's camper van. After three years together, they each proposed to one another and began wearing commitment rings.

Dean emphasized their devotion on a 2020 episode of The Bachelor: The Greatest Seasons — Ever! "I’m committed to Caelynn and only Caelynn.... It’s our way of telling the world that we’re committed to each other," he explained. This commitment reassured them both about their relationship.

 Caelynn expressed the significance of their relationship. "He started wearing a hair tie around his ring finger to fend off women," she shared with Chris Harrison. This led the couple to consider rings, as they enjoy committing to each other without formalities.

They officially got married in September 2023, choosing to adopt the last name Bell to honor Dean’s late mother, who had the same maiden name. This decision reflects their deep affection and ties to a family legacy.
