Dayle Haddon, Beloved Actress and Supermodel, Passes Away at 76 Following Suspected Carbon Monoxide Leak
Dayle Haddon, a renowned actress and former supermodel, has died at the age of 76 due to suspected carbon monoxide poisoning, PEOPLE reported. Reports indicate that authorities were called to the home of her son-in-law, Hallmark actor Marc Blucas, on Friday, Dec. 27, around 6:30 a.m. Local police responded to a 911 call in Bucks County, Pennsylvania.
Upon arrival, officers discovered a 76-year-old man unconscious on the first floor. He was taken to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, New Jersey. A woman was found dead in a second-floor bedroom; Deputy Coroner Eliot Gross confirmed it was Dayle. A toxicology report will determine her official cause of death. Fortunately, other family members on the property were unharmed by the suspected carbon monoxide leak, reported ABC 6.
Complications arose when two medics were treated at a local hospital for carbon monoxide exposure while one officer received care at the scene. Police suspect that fumes may have escaped from a faulty boiler as a potential source of the leak.
