Jennifer Lopez Shares Heartfelt Thanksgiving Post as Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner Celebrate Together in L.A.

This Thanksgiving marks Jennifer Lopez's first since her divorce filing from Ben Affleck in August. They were married for two years. On November 29, Lopez, 55, took to Instagram to share her gratitude. She posed with a large turkey in her kitchen. The picture captures her smiling brightly while looking off to the side, PEOPLE reported.

Lopez wore a floral embroidered sweater and statement earrings, her hair styled in a high ponytail. She wrote, "I hope everybody had a beautiful and Happy Thanksgiving. I am so incredibly grateful for all of you. 🧡"

Affleck, 52, spent the holiday with his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner, also 52. The former couple was seen volunteering together at The Midnight Mission's annual Thanksgiving Street Fair in Los Angeles.

This non-profit organization provides meals and live entertainment for those experiencing homelessness in Skid Row. According to their website, the event serves thousands of individuals and families in need. A source shared, "They truly enjoy giving back to their community and cherishing quality time together."

Affleck and Garner finalized their divorce in 2018. They split in 2015 after a decade of marriage. The exes looked cheerful as they posed with The Midnight Mission's CEO, David Prentice while wearing matching aprons.

The couple shares three children: Violet Anne, 18, Seraphina Rose, 15, and Samuel, 12. Earlier this week, a source confirmed that Affleck plans to take a break from filming his new movie, "RIP," during the holidays to spend more time with his kids.

Affleck feels content and happy about his current life, emphasizing, "He'll spend Thanksgiving with his kids."

Although the divorce process is ongoing, Jennifer Lopez remains in touch with Affleck's children. An insider shared, "Jennifer is doing well. She doesn't dwell on the past. She's so grateful for everything that she has." They also said, "Her whole family loves them. She wants the kids to feel they can reach out whenever they need anything."
