Kailyn Lowry Undergoes Breast Reduction Surgery After Raising Seven Kids

Kailyn Lowry, known from Teen Mom 2, revealed that she recently had breast reduction surgery. This announcement comes over a year after she welcomed her twins, Valley and Verse, her sixth and seventh children.

For Kailyn, the holiday season signified a perfect time for a significant body transformation. On December 29, she shared a selfie on her Instagram Story, excitedly announcing her post-operative status. In the snapshot, she holds up a peace sign along with the caption, "4 days post op."

In her post, she included a poll asking, "Do you want breast reduction videos?" Kailyn later shared another video where she again displays the peace sign while lying down. The clip is captioned, "Out of surgery, lots of videos to come."

Earlier in 2023, Kailyn expressed her desire for breast surgery after the birth of her twins. During the May 17 episode of her Barely Famous podcast, she recounted feeling frustrated after being told she needed to lose weight before undergoing the procedure. "I called around and made consultations," Kailyn explained. "They told me I needed to lose 40 pounds... maybe 50."

Kailyn described that experience as "extremely humbling." She shares her twins and son Rio, 2, with fiancé Elijah Scott. Additionally, she has sons Isaac, 14, Lincoln, 11, Lux, 7, and Creed, 4, from previous relationships.

This is not the first time Kailyn has opted for plastic surgery. In 2016, she underwent a Brazilian butt lift and tummy tuck, as confirmed by her surgeon, Dr. Michael Salzhauer. Reflecting on her surgical choices, she remarked, "It was the best decision I ever made." Yet, she also acknowledged that "not waiting until I was done having kids" was her worst decision.

Having decided to have her tubes tied after the birth of her twins, Kailyn stated that she always planned to pursue a breast reduction, "no matter what."
