Kristin Cavallari Clarifies Relationship with Kardashian-Jenners

Kristin Cavallari addressed rumors regarding her relationship with the Kardashian-Jenner family. This comes after she previously mentioned Scott Disick's role in her friendship fallout with Kourtney Kardashian.

On a recent podcast episode, Kristin openly shared her perspective. She stated that she doesn't focus on the ten-year-old drama, asserting that she doesn't "really give a f--k" about it. Kristin accused the family of being "calculated" and "fake," highlighting her views on their dynamics.

Kristin, 37, explained her past connection with Scott Disick through shared friends. In her early 20s, she dated Brody Jenner, Kourtney's stepbrother. "Scott and Kourtney started dating. That’s how I met Kourtney," Kristin recalled on the Dec. 30 episode of the Dumb Blonde podcast. "I f--king loved Kourtney. We were really good friends."

Details of the Falling Out

At one point, Kourtney and Scott — parents to Mason, 15, Penelope, 11, and Reign, 10 — broke up. Kristin shared that she joined male friends on a trip to Las Vegas, where Scott also attended. "Scott happened to be one of the guys that came again. We were always just friends," she narrated, explaining that Scott was heartbroken about Kourtney. However, they had no romantic involvement during that trip.

The next day, Kristin learned that tabloids claimed she and Scott had hooked up. "I was like, 'What in the mother f--k?'" she recalled, suggesting Scott may have leaked the story to provoke jealousy in Kourtney. Kristin reassured Kourtney over the phone about the false rumor, stating, "I would never f--king touch Scott." Kourtney expressed her hesitation, saying she wouldn't want to be in such a situation.

Moving Forward

Following Scott and Kourtney’s brief reconciliation before their eventual split in 2015, Kristin claimed the incident led to her withdrawing from their friendship. "Scott must have said it was true or something, because all it would have taken was for Scott to be like, 'That's not true,'" she explained.

Recently, Kristin revealed Scott reached out to her after years of silence, which she found unsettling. "I go on my podcast and just was talking s--t about the Kardashians, like nothing in particular," she said, recounting Scott's unexpected DM after many years. "It just felt so calculated to me."

Kristin views these actions as part of a larger pattern in Hollywood, asserting, "keep your friends close and your enemies closer." She firmly stated, "I don’t play that game. It's so fake to me."
