Nikki Glaser Hosting the Golden Globes 2026: Excitement for Another Round

Comedian Nikki Glaser will return as host for the Golden Globes in 2026. CBS and the Golden Globes made this announcement on Thursday, March 13. Glaser, now 40, previously made her hosting debut this year and had an incredible experience.
In her statement, Glaser said, "Hosting the Golden Globes this year was without a doubt the most fun I have ever had in my career. I can’t wait to do it again." She humorously added her wish to star in Season Four of *The White Lotus* as a Scandinavian Pilates instructor with a mysterious backstory.
Golden Globes president Helen Hoehne praised Glaser for her impactful presence. She stated, "Nikki Glaser brought a refreshing spark and fearless wit to the Golden Globes stage this year. Her sharp humor and bold presence set the tone for an unforgettable night, making the ceremony feel vibrant and fun." Glaser's efforts marked her as the first woman to host the event solo as awards season began in January. Her performance garnered extensive accolades.
After the ceremony, Glaser opened up about her pay, highlighting that it was less than her male peers. However, she remained satisfied, commenting, "I got paid pretty — I’m good with that," while implying, "I’ll get more next year."

Reports came out suggesting Glaser received a multi-year hosting deal, a topic she discussed during her interview with Entertainment Tonight last month. "I keep seeing headlines that say, ‘She’s got a deal to do three more [Golden Globes ceremonies],’" Glaser mentioned, while attending the 2025 Grammy Awards. "I haven’t heard about this [offer] yet."
Despite this, Glaser expressed willingness to return. She described the experience as hard work but also the best job she’s ever had. The "mission statement" she made before the awards aimed for viewers to feel comfortable while watching. "I wanted them to think, ‘I want her to host more things. That was comfortable to watch. I wasn’t nervous for her,’", she explained.
Glaser reflected on her successful goal to engage the audience positively. "I wanted people to have a fun time and not think I was going after anyone," she stated. Her hard work evidently accomplished that tone.
The 83rd annual Golden Globe Awards are scheduled for January 2026.
