Sean "Diddy" Combs is Being Sued for Alleged Sexual Assault of 10-Year-Old
Sean "Diddy" Combs is being sued for allegedly assaulting a 10-year-old boy in 2005. The lawsuit was filed on October 28, as reported by NBC News.
This lawsuit adds to Combs' ongoing legal troubles, which include federal charges that involve racketeering, sex trafficking, and prostitution. He has pleaded not guilty to these charges and is currently in jail.
In the lawsuit filed with New York state's Supreme Court, a plaintiff known only as John Doe described being a young boy who aspired to be an actor or rapper. His consultant arranged a meeting with Combs in New York City. Despite having his parents' permission for this meeting, Combs requested to see the boy alone.
During the meeting, Combs reportedly told the boy that he could "make him a star." He then asked how badly the boy wanted it. When the boy indicated he would "do anything," an associate allegedly handed him a spiked soda. After drinking it, the boy began to feel unwell, initially attributing it to excitement.
The lawsuit alleges that Combs then requested oral sex, which the boy refused. Regardless, the complaint states that the boy was sexually assaulted while feeling paralyzed by fear. The plaintiff reported losing consciousness, awakening with his pants undone and feeling sore.
He cried for his parents, but Combs allegedly warned him not to tell anyone, threatening harm to his family. After the encounter, the plaintiff revealed the assault to his parents, who were afraid of the potential fallout.
Now, he seeks a jury trial and is pursuing damages, claiming he lost a normal childhood and struggles with interactions due to the traumatic experience.
Texas attorney Tony Buzbee filed the suit and represents other accusers of Combs. Recently, he mentioned plans to file more cases against Combs and others as they gather more evidence.
Combs' attorney responded with a statement, suggesting that the lawsuit's aim is real attention rather than uncovering the truth. They emphasized that Mr. Combs cannot address every claim and asserted confidence in the judicial process to reveal the truth. The attorney stated that Combs did not assault or traffic anyone, including minors.
