SpaceX's super-heavy starship: the company initiated tests
Elon Musk, the visionary entrepreneur, has once again made the world admire his latest achievement. The SpaceX team is preparing for an extraordinary stage of testing of its innovative creation.
The brilliant minds of SpaceX, led by Elon Musk, are beginning a series of tests of their advanced prototype, the Starship Super Heavy accelerator. The excitement is palpable as they prepare.
This ambitious venture is taking place at the Starbase orbital launch site located in Boca Chica, Texas.
The launch vehicle, dubbed Booster 9, was expertly placed on the launch pad in south Texas. This happened after the entire Zorelit complex failed during the launch on April 20 earlier this year. However, it should be noted that the booster has undergone a number of successful tests, including a static fire test.
During the latest test, thirty-three Raptor engines were simultaneously working on LV 9, although four of them were turned off earlier than expected. Some may regard this as a possible failure, but SpaceX remains optimistic about the test results. The company claims that both the launch vehicle and the launcher remained intact. On the other hand, the simultaneous activation of most engines is a significant achievement.
