Margot Robbie, 34, proudly revealed her postpartum physique just a month after giving birth to her first child with husband Tom Ackerley. The actress, known for her role in Barbie, was spotted in Malibu on November 9, clad in a black crop top, shorts, and a loose button-down paired with casual sandals and sunglasses. Ackerley, Robbie's spouse of nearly eight years, accompanied her during this outing, US Weekly reported.
The news of their son's arrival came just before the actress’s due date, with outlets confirming the birth at the end of October. According to a report by Daily Mail, mother and baby were in good health, marking a new chapter in Robbie's life.
Robbie's pregnancy became public in July following the release of photos showing her baby bump. Rather discreet during this time, she chose to attend only a few events leading to her motherhood journey. Robbie and Ackerley initially became friends on the set of the movie Suite Française in 2013, before their romance blossomed, culminating in a private December 2016 wedding in Australia. They later co-founded the LuckyChap Entertainment production company, responsible for films like Barbie and Saltburn. Reflecting on her relationship with Ackerley in an interview with Vogue, Robbie expressed how long-standing affections evolved into a lifelong partnership.
Post-marriage, Robbie began contemplating parenthood, candidly sharing with Porter magazine in 2018 that having children was part of her future plans. Recently, their household grew with the addition of a rescue pit bull during a spontaneous visit by Ackerley to a dog shelter, adding more life to their already lively setting. Looking forward, Robbie envisions a family life filled with children instead of just pets, signifying a wish for a bustling household.
