At the same time, psychologists confirm that "training stimulation" is more often experienced by those who are new to such circumstances, have problems with their physical form, or generally feel uncomfortable in public places. People are most afraid of the possibility of being judged or faciing inappropriate behavior from others.

Another reason for fear is the unique environment in the gym. While people come to other public places with specific goals,  everyone in a gym solves their own problem. Someone is improving their health, someone is getting fit, and someone needs to achieve social recognition and respect.

"Thus," Suddell explains, "all of these people are in close proximity to each other, but we don't know why each of them is in the gym.

Such uncertainty can contribute to feelings of judgment or inadequacy, especially if a person cannot achieve what others can or is unsure how to use certain equipment.

How to overcome feelings of uncertainty
