Siamese twins from the United States, Carmen and Lupita Andrade, shared facts from their lives that are so interesting to their online fans. This was reported by SSPDaily.
Connected at the waist, the 23-year-old sisters have separate upper bodies, shoulders, and heads, which means they each have their own thoughts, opinions, and identities.
"We are still two different people," Carmen reminded her Instagram followers. "We have two different ID cards, identification numbers, and social security numbers. If one of us is tired, it doesn't mean we're both tired because we have two separate brains. So, one of us can be awake and the other can be asleep because, again, we have different brains. We are two different people."
Each twin controls her own limbs. Lupita explained that they cannot control each other's limbs. Some basic functions are a little more difficult and require them to learn. Carmen explained: "Yes, I can drive a car. I have my right leg, so I drive the car."
Although they have separate limbs, they share blood flow, so intoxication affects them both, but their hunger signals are different. Carmen and Lupita have different stomachs, but the nutrients they digest enter the same bloodstream. However, this common bloodstream also has a dark streak.
If one of them dies, they both face the same fate. Carmen explained: "We share a common bloodstream, so sooner or later sepsis will start and obviously in a few hours or days the other one will die, but we are not dead, so why do you always ask us about it?"
