A travel agent for the rich and famous has revealed the strangest things his clients have asked for while traveling. SSPDaily prepared the most interesting requests.
As Rob Dellibovi told CNN, he has signed many non-disclosure agreements, but he shares some anonymous secrets.
Through his company, RDB Hospitality, Dellibovi and his team work to ensure that clients travel "seamlessly, non-stop, hassle-free," whether it's a vacation, a concert tour on the world stage, or an international press conference.
His clients include not only celebrities, but also "wealthy people" with "high demands" who know that "most things are available for a price."
A travel planner does more than just book airline tickets and hotels. He works to ensure that every wild request his clients make is immediately fulfilled to guarantee an elite experience.
For example, one former client demanded that every hotel room he rented have a "medium-sized dog" ready to wag its tail.
While it was a "fun, harmless thing" to let a man play with a dog for two hours, it was a constant challenging request. Sometimes it could mean offering to pay hotel employees who are dog owners to borrow the animal for a while.
DelliBovi was also asked to "create a cheese board a meter long" and to separate M&Ms by color, a common request from musicians.
"It's something that's passed down through a lot of bands," he said. "Some might say they do it to mess with us."
Another client "doesn't like to pack" and asked for "new underwear, socks, shirts, and everything else" to be waiting for him at each destination.
"New clothes are bought in every city," said DelliBovi.
The most common request a travel agent receives is for certain types of bottled water.
"Everyone has their own type of water bottle, and it's very funny," he said. "For me, there is no difference between all the bottles of water, but how do I know?"
Guests are also very picky about temperature - they have preferences for everything from their room to the water in their bathtub.
But travel agents are simply unable to satisfy some requests, as some clients "abuse" his services.
DelliBovi admitted that he is asked for "a lot of illegal things" - although he doesn't specify what exactly - but he doesn't cross that line, no matter how big his star power or salary.
"I'm just too afraid to get involved in such things," he said.
