When we communicate with children, the words we choose are not just fleeting expressions. They have a profound impact on the child's personality and future adult life. Parental guidance plays a crucial role in helping children overcome internal anxiety or insecurity, and understanding what phrases to use is very important.

SSPDaily offers five key supportive phrases that should be constantly said to children to achieve maximum effect:

1. "Don't give up":

Help your child develop resilience by calmly and confidently emphasizing the importance of perseverance, even in the face of failure.

2. "Let me give you a hug":

Parents should remember that children need regular expressions of love and affection. It is scientifically proven that children benefit from at least eight hugs a day to feel fully understood and valued.

3. "I'm proud of you":

Recognizing your child's accomplishments, no matter how small, is vital. Parents should praise their child's efforts, build their self-confidence, and encourage their desire to succeed.

4. "I will always be there for you":

By offering unconditional support, you send a strong message to children by assuring them that they have a strong safety net. This reassurance builds self-confidence and provides the resilience needed to overcome challenges.

5. "I love you":

Although it seems obvious, expressing love is incredibly important. Children need to hear this statement from their parents to feel a deep sense of love and security.

Parents should remember that effective communication with children is key, no matter what the situation. It creates a foundation for mutual understanding, which ultimately helps prevent problems when the child enters adolescence. It is important to say kind words even when a child makes mistakes, as they have a more significant impact than negative content, yelling or reproach. Consider including the following phrases in your communication with your child:

1. "I believe in you"

2. "We are happy to have you"

3. "There are no perfect people"

4. "Tell me how you feel"

5. "I'm sorry"

6. "I forgive you"

7. "We miss you"

It is important to communicate with children truthfully, avoiding naivety, as this helps to develop a strong and confident personality.

In addition, there are certain points to consider when communicating with girls in order to promote their growth without reinforcing harmful stereotypes and limitations:

1. Avoid phrases such as "You are a future housewife," as they limit a girl's potential to household duties. Give her freedom of choice and encourage diverse thinking.

2. Refrain from phrases such as "Give in/be wise, you are a girl" or "Be softer". These sentences devalue the girl's opinion and suggest that she sacrifice her interests, preventing the development of assertiveness.

3. Don't encourage cunning by saying, "Be cunning" instead of honesty and hard work. Let your daughter understand the need for honesty and ethics in achieving her goals.

4. Discard the outdated notion that "the main thing is to get married." Marriage is not the ultimate measure of success or happiness. Allow your daughter to realize her own aspirations and support her individual dreams.

5. Avoid phrases such as "Don't sit around," which instill in girls a sense of guilt for having free time. Instead, encourage them to seek out productive hobbies or experiences, while respecting the importance of rest and recharging.

6. Finally, avoid the statement: "It's not about money." While this is true on some levels, money can contribute to happiness if used wisely. Teach your daughter the value of responsible financial management skills.

By inspiring children with positive and supportive words, we set them on the path to developing resilience, confidence, and a strong sense of self-worth. These phrases can change their lives for the better, paving the way for a brighter future.
