There are many ways people can earn a little extra cash - and one man saw the perfect opportunity to make money with his dirty feet.
The Mirror writes about it.
George Woodville hasn't worn shoes since 2021, and now he's making the most of his muddy feet and selling photos of them on OnlyFans. SSPDaily learned more about his interesting job.
The 21-year-old man leads a barefoot lifestyle and thanks to this, he managed to meet the "love of his life" Roseanne. The reason for the lifestyle change was George's mental health problems, who claimed that he wanted to "feel the whole earth."
When he threw away all of his shoes, he recalled how his family thought he had "gone crazy," but now he is able to make a living off his feet and it has done "wonders" for his well-being. Since taking to social media, George has gained thousands of fans, which gave him the idea to start OnlyFans.
He now earns between £500 and £1,000 a month from pictures of his feet, mostly in public places like trains and cafes. That's when he met 20-year-old Rosanna, and the couple claims it was "love at first sight."
Rosanna started going barefoot just a few months after they met, but it wasn't all smooth sailing. The couple said that they were not allowed in some places because they went barefoot, and admitted that they had to resort to "playing with their medical card" to get into restaurants and shops.
"We don't mind if glass or something else hits our feet anymore... I've stood on it quite a few times, but I've always been fine. It doesn't stop me from going anywhere where we don't have to live in fear of something happening when we leave the house, and I think that goes for life in general," George said. "I look at life as if I'm on a desert island and I have no idea what's normal. If we want to go barefoot, we should be able to, there are many worse things we could be doing. I am so lucky that I met Roseanne and that we can do this together, she is the love of my life. I don't think either of us is thinking about stopping this lifestyle."
The decision to go barefoot came to him when he was on a hiking trip with his mom and grandfather. He claimed that he was looking for a "new experience" and thought "why not".
"I just thought: "Why don't I feel the whole earth? Why wouldn't I want to feel the whole thing? ' So I threw away all my shoes."
However, he added that his family "didn't really understand it": "At first, they didn't want anything to do with me for a long time because they thought I must be crazy or something, but I wasn't."
He found that walking barefoot improved his mental health and said it was one of the "best things" he had ever done. He explained that he used to suffer from seizures and claimed that walking barefoot stopped them.
As for people's reactions, George says they can vary: "Strangers tend to either think it's great or just be against it and think it's very strange. Sometimes people come up to us and say: "Wow, you're really inspiring," and "It's so cool what you're doing." I think the fact that we're a couple and what we do makes it more spectacular."
But it doesn't seem to bother him, as he knows he's making money with his dirty feet, and he added: "It keeps me afloat financially. I don't care what other people think or what they get out of watching my videos, like people who have a foot fetish. To me, it's all art and creativity, and there are people who appreciate that creativity, in every way you can imagine."
Luckily, his girlfriend doesn't mind his OnlyFans page, but her family is strongly against her making money with him on the platform, but she still happily lives barefoot for herself. "So I just drew a line and said she's not going to participate, but she helps me take pictures and helps me with content," George explained.
As for his future plans, George hopes that one day he can make his own documentary for Netflix and travel barefoot around the world.
