A polyamorous man told how he overcomes misunderstandings with his three wives. SSPDaily tells about it.
Jerome Gunn shocked people by sharing his controversial relationship with the world. The 34-year-old man has three partners and two children, but Jerome swears that it's a lot of fun, plus they make four incomes in one family.
The blogger from Alabama, USA, met his first wife Jazz, now 25, in 2016, and three years later they got married.
But the couple soon decided to open up their marriage and found 22-year-old Dijah on Facebook almost a year after they decided to become polyamorous.
"The last woman added to the family is the person who makes the decision to add another woman," Jerome told What's The Jam. "But we'll all sit down and come to a mutual agreement.
One day, Deejah and Jazz decided they wanted to replenish the fund: "We looked and dated for almost a year and found 23-year-old Jasmine."
However, Jerome admits that dating more than one person at a time can be difficult, especially when they are always together and sleeping in the same bed.
As in any relationship, disagreements can arise - but the foursome have found a special way to deal with hostility.
Jerome said: "It's not all sunshine and rainbows. There are times when we disagree. That would be the only downside I could think of, but in any relationship or life there are disagreements. We resolve our differences by creating an "energy circle". An energy circle is a place where we get together and form a circle where we discuss our feelings and solve any problems we have. Another downside is that we had to buy a custom-made bed because we all couldn't fit into one regular large one. We all sleep in the same bed, in the same room. The sex life is amazing! We are all close to each other, but sometimes it can be one-on-one, or maybe two-on-one, or all together. It depends on the opportunity."
While the foursome are more than happy with their unique relationship, they have to deal with criticism from loved ones.
Jerome said: "People tell us all the time that we shouldn't live like this. But that just makes us want it even more. The public also sometimes looks at us funny, because they are not used to seeing a man with several wives who get along and are happy!"
Despite the negative reactions, Jerome said that opening up the relationship has many positive aspects.
"It's so much fun. You have multiple partners with different personalities, outlooks on life, and mindsets. You have multiple support and love from all these people you can trust. Multiple forms of income and help around the house as well as with the kids. It's almost like living in a house with a group of friends that you can turn to for anything!" he added.
Jerome and Jazz have a son together, five-year-old Jace, who lives in their home with their three-year-old son DJ from a previous relationship.
The man shared: "The kids have never questioned it, but Jace does refer to all women as his mother. He started doing it on his own because they all show him love and care for him like a mom should."
As a reminder, the 103-year-old man married a 49-year-old woman. This is the groom's third marriage.
