Exorcist tells of a possessed woman who "urinated black" and whose face "turned into Lucifer"
The priest said that the devil is now "thriving and taking over the bodies of more and more people."
This was reported by the Daily Star.
Eric Jacquemin, 71, says he has spent decades casting out spirits and demons from possessed victims. But, according to him, the situation has never been worse than it is now. The veteran demon hunter said: "The devil is occupying more and more people. There are billions of devils, and there is a lot of evil. Just look at us now, when we are on the brink of nuclear war."
He also spoke about a terrifying moment when the face of a woman he was casting out a demon changed shape and looked like Lucifer.
"When the devil spoke out of this woman's mouth, she took on demonic features. This woman urinated black and had medically unexplained abdominal pain - clear signs of the devil's presence. I prepared holy water and a wooden cross for the woman, and then entered into a direct confrontation with the devil. "Who are you and where are you?" - I asked the remaining devil. It turned out to be Lucifer, who was in her blood," Eric recalled.
He said that despite science, modern medicine and psychiatry, exorcists have rarely been busier.
"The priests who are now recognized by the Church as exorcists don't necessarily do much more than the work of a psychologist," he said. "Many people think that the 'devil' is a psychological condition, they deny that it is an external force, a spirit, just as angels are spirits. If the body is a car, then the devil is a hijacker. He gets in and takes the wheel from you. Hard drug use, hard sex, sinful behavior - these are things that can bring the devil upon you."
He said that priests, who "do not live in a state of grace themselves," cannot be expected to "drive the devil away."
"On the contrary, they are his slaves," he said. But Eric warned: "You should not talk to the devil through prayer. You should order him to go away. In Latin, the sacred language."
